A Lot can Happen in Fifty Years – 2011

Made for the 62 Group of textile Artist’s exhibition Interventions this piece references several items from the Manchester Museum’s Collection, including a button shaped like a fish, the artist’s sister, Jean, is portrayed first aged 17, then aged 67.

The side panels show more items from the Collection and also reference personal, national and global events from the past 50 years.
